An 8 day oak longcased clock circa 1770.

Details: An oak 8 day longcased clock by William Barker working in wigan from 1760.
The square brass dial encompassing a chapter ring of roman numerals with smaller arabic numerals marking each five minute duration ,a square date aperture and the makers name and town Barker, Wigan below.The four corners of the dial are decorated with pierced brass spandrels and there are steel black painted hands.
The brass movement with turned pillars and rack striking counting the hours on a bell.
There are quarter turned reeded columns on the trunk either side of a short door with panel below.The base stands on ogee feet.
The clock will be sold fully restored and will be delivered and set up anywhere in Ireland and includes 24 months warranty.
